We are building precision AI for the most challenging tasks in architectural design.

Our team has decades of combined experience across architecture and technology, including 3D and AI. That spans years of architectural practice on major buildings, and years building AI and spatial technology at the frontier of the tech industry.

We believe the interface architects use to work with CAD is outdated. Clicking through menus and dialogs, placing components in a 3D model by hand, manually updating large models, checking that everything stays integrated: none of it matches how people actually think when designing. But the CAD itself, the edge cases and domain logic built into CAD over decades of engineering practice, is not outdated at all. That is accumulated expertise we build on, not something we replace.

We aim for the interface science fiction promised: a gesture at the model, a markup on a drawing, a few words about what should change. The software interprets the design intent and carries it out in the CAD itself.

Ideatura is a platform that combines spatial understanding, frontier LLM and VLM models, deep domain expertise, and a modern AI interface. The work happens through prompts and markups, while CAD keeps handling the edge cases and stays interoperable with everything else. Drawings, components, building modeling, construction details, compliance: all of it becomes something to describe, not something to click through by hand.
